Also if you have done courses in management, business law, finance, mathematics, and statistics, economics and accounting then it will be an added advantage.

Courses in management are offered generally at undergraduate and postgraduate degree/diploma levels, by private and government management institutes. A 10+2 pass candidate can take up undergraduate management degree programs, like BBA, BBS, BBM, etc. For post graduation courses, like MBA, PGDM, etc., a graduation is a mandatory Almost all reputable management institutions in India admit students through entrance tests, like CET, CAT, SNAP, MAT,EMAT,GMAT etc.

Job Prospects : Management jobs offered by various institutes include marketing, advertising, public relations, human resource, information technology sales and manufacturing. Candidates who completed his graduation, with related experience, excellent communication skills and creativity have good job prospects. Candidates proficient in computer skills and internet have great chance in advertising, marketing, promotions, public relations field.

Career Prospects:After completing a course in management, one can start his/her own business or aspire to work at managerial and executive levels in corporate houses and multinational companies. There is always a huge demand for management degree holders in major fields of management, as operation managers, human resource managers, event managers, hospitality managers, and others. For working professionals of various fields, part-time diploma/certificate courses in management are also offered by institutes in order to enhance their skills growth in their profession.

Remuneration:Remuneration in management field is among the highest.However it largely depends on the organization structure and nature of work. Graduates from IIMs and other prestigious B-schools are offered attractive salary packages, starting from around 8-12 lakhs per annum, or even more, depending upon the hiring organization and the students’ caliber. The salary for  IIM candidate has been around 15-16 lakhs per annum. In other words it can be said that remuneration is no bar for the right candidate.
